Many thanks to all those who visited me at the Draycott stARTle event at the weekend. I know many of you had to brave the dodgy weather to be there. If you picked up a FREE sample pack voucher don't forget to contact me. If you have a colour preference do ask. I can't promise, as its 'first come'.

Derbyshire Open Arts
At the end of May I will once again be involved in the Derbyshire Open Arts event. This year I will be joining a group exhibition at Holymoorside. Eight artists will be showing a variety of work at two venues in Holymoorside.
Teas will be served so you can relax and enjoy.
To find us take Chatsworth Road, A619, west out of Chesterfield. Left at first Holymoorside sign onto Holymoor Road, travel half a mile and park near the village hall where the road is widest. Straight over the cross roads onto New Road. I will be at the Methodist Chapel with three other artists, on the left after 200 metres.
Turn left at the Bulls Head pub and the United Reformed Church is on the right after the lay-by. Four more artists are showing here.

I have finally taken the plunge and started a blog. www.uniquebagstheblog.blogspot.com . It consists mostly of shameless self promotion. Take a look anyway. There's lots of extra information there that would not be appropriate here. You can leave comments if you like, I would love to hear from you.

I create individually handmade handbags, handmade bridal bags and many other unique pieces of textile art. Each item is entirely unique, not just a limited edition. The perfect finishing touch to that special occasion outfit, or wedding gown.
I have designed all the patterns for my bags, and created most of the fabrics used. I finish all my bags individually with hand or machine embroidery, beads, sequins shells or cords.
The result is an entirely original bag. The items you see on my 'products' pages can never be exactly repeated.
When its gone, its gone.
